Murg Shahi Korma
Murg Shahi Korma is one of the most famous chicken dish.
Ingredients
- 200 ml butter
- 1kg chicken thigh fillets, cut into 115 cubes
- 4 gms garam masala
- 20 gms coriander powder
- 15 gms turmeric powder
- 250 gms chopped onion
- 200 gms finely chopped tomato
- 20 gms each, ginger and garlic
- 400 ml whipping cream
- 20 ml vetlver water
- 4 gms white pepper
- 8 gms salt
- 30 ml oil
- 120 gms cashew nuts, crushed
Method
Melt butter in a large saucepan and saute chicken till it becomes pale. Add all spices, onion, tomato, ginger and garlic pastes. Saute until the chicken is cooked soft and the oil begins to leave the sides of the pan.
Add cream, vetiver water, oil, salt and pepper. Mix well. Stir till it begins to bubble and gets a creamy gravy. Garnish with cashew nuts and serve.
